5 years Later!!!!
My dear Kaleo family,
As the years go by I realize how much you, and our wonderful year spent together meant to me. I am currently preparing for graduation from education coming up on April 28! I am so excited – it has been a pretty huge journey! My last practicum was teaching grade five at Foothills Academy which specialize in teaching children with learning disabilities.
The past five years has been marked by God’s grace. I am so undeserving, and God has lavished his love upon me. I have seen my mom miraculously healed from a brain tumor, was blessed to participate on a missions trip to Mexico and freed from an eating disorder to name a few defining moments in my life over the past 5 few years.
The past few months I have felt a call to third world missions being impressed on my heart. I ask that you, my Kaleo family pray that the Lord confirms this call on my life if that is truly a path he desires I pursue. I am going to teach in the Domincan Republic in May and am praying that God uses this experience to cultivate His compassion in my heart and provide direction for my future. I am also praying that He pours out His love on the children I will be teaching through me, that they will be blown away by God’s extravagant love for Him.
