rejecccction.

hello friends. sooooo i've been waiting a ridiculously long time for this visa of mine, and i got the email today that the application was denied. so there are a few options...

a.) reapply. appeal it. do whatever it takes. (a letter is being sent to Metro with details of why I was rejected)
b.) take this as a closed door.

the cool thing in this whole situation was last night i was thinking to myself, i've been praying all wrong about this. the only possibility i had in my mind was that i was going back. and so last night i prayed that if this, metro, new york, was NOT the place for me, that it would be made clear. soon. and behold, at 8 a.m. today. a denial. now, my mind is humming and hawing about if this is really a closed door, or if it's a chance for God to just blow my mind crazilly in a miracle. either way, i know that my mind will be crazilly blown by whatever God has in store for me.

now...to get off this chicken farm....

much love. i will see some of you soon.

TOO LONG!

Hey Everyone!

It's been over 3 weeks since the last post, and since I come here daily and think every time "Someone should post something" I figured I probably should stop just thinking and do something about it! So here it goes!

Well, my life has been going really great. I am still working at Winkler (insert Rob's giggles here) Bible Camp, running Kids Zone. It's still takes the majority of my time, but I'm to the point where I make sure to take a day or 2 off per week. I love everything about Kids Zone. Ok, maybe not everything, but overall I love it so much! This past week we had 172 kids in total and in the past 7 weeks have not been under 100 kids! It's a crazy sweet deal for sure! So yeah, Praise God with me for Him seeing fit to get this thing going in Winkler and for the phenomenal work hes been doing through it all!

I wish you all could see my room, because i recently printed a bunch of Kaleo photos and they are on my walls, reminding me to pray for you, and it also reminds me of what God has given me and such. A lot of them are blown up and framed, but my favorite one is from the yearbook ends sheets, the photo joel made with all of us. Its such a great representation of everyone!

Oh, one more thing I'm coming to Vancouver, next weekend, so if you are in the area I'd love to see you!

Love you all, and I'd love to hear what is going on in your lives!
