india!

as you may or may not know, the kaleo eights are on their missions trips right now. the india team arrived in delhi in the middle of our night last night (narrowly escaping the earthquake that hit japan - praise god!) and are currently probably exploring the red fort and revelling in the bazaar (this could be way off; i'm really bad with time difference and its accompanying math).

i am calling on you brothers and sisters to partner with this team in prayer! god did a great work in and through us four years ago in india. that's where these students are at right now.

this has been an interesting year for kaleo. jim has consistently reinforced that this year's theme is one of incredible grace. both jim and janet are undertaking a lot in leading this team. everyone is tired going into this trip; everyone is feeling weak. the verse that has been given to this team repeatedly is II corinthians 12:9 - “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

nicki and i are currently calling on all the past india teams to intercede on behalf of this present team as god does great work in and through them. nicki is currently strategizing how to get a 24/7 prayer thing going on that will involve past india teams aka US! please please please, if you want to sign up for a slot, go to our blog (http://kaleofour.blogspot.com/) where nicki will be shortly posting a more detailed description of how to get involved with this prayer initiative. or message me back privately and i'll give you more info!

greetings everyone, felt like this would be the perfect time to check in with you all, due to the fact that i'm in Miami with rob bancroft right now! feel free to be jealous of miami, but not the vicious sunburns already obtained after a day. miss you all, be safe, have fun. amen.
