hey guys!
Hey y'all... just wanted to drop a quick note and say hi to all of you. Home has been really relaxing so far, I've been in my pj's all day and had my first real meal cooked by mommy tonight... so all is good, but I have just been feeling a little discouraged, and was hoping you guys could pray...
Last night my family went to my aunt and uncle's house in Victoria for my uncle's birthday, and it was really fun... but I have found myself just longing for the family of Kaleo... comparing the pure loving community that has developed over the last 3 months to my immediate and extended family... which is just so broken... and I think I'm becoming more and more aware how much every single one of them needs Jesus so desperately! I think that God is teaching me that how much I have been passive in letting my faith show... I just am so unsure of how to take the next step past 'loving' them and start conveying the truth of Christ in more obvious ways... Please please please pray that the Spirit would start stirring the hearts of everyone in my family, that Christ would smack them in the face with His truth and love and mercy and grace... my heart for my family for the longest time has been for them to know Christ, I just long with every fibre of my being for my family as a whole to be transformed and healed by Him.

Talk to them about the stuff you've been learning this year. When they ask you about school tell them about what you're learning in your classes (which happen to be things like Spirit Form and Hermeneutics? Wait a minute, the usual conversation about school can be a chance to tell them about the Gospel simply by explaining about what your crazy version of school is? Nice . . .) Seriously, they will see the change in you so evidently that they'll demand explanation, at which point you have a huge open door. Be bold, that's one thing you've learned this year (I hope / assume), take a step out of your comfort zone! It's scary territory but so good. This goes for all of you, you are different people now than you were 3 months ago, don't hide that.

Ellie awesome to hear from ya. Why is it that it's so much easier to go share about Christ with people on the streets of Victoria then anywhere around our homes??
i love sweetie and for sure will be praying for you and your fam. your love for Him is going to shine through to them, i witness it everyday, it can't be hidden!

wow guys, its funny how i don't really burdened by this anymore, i'm feeling more stoked than anything... I just have this amazing peace about things, confident that God's going to provide opportunities that I never could have imagined, and I know he is going to be and already is working... i'm so excited to see the things he's gonna do!! thanks so much for your prayers and words guys... God is good.
